Trent Dog Walking is run by Rebecca, with her van and her four-legged assistant, Omar. Together we keep things simple: safe, structured walks with plenty of care and attention for every dog. Groups are always small, methods are gentle and consistent, and every walk is shaped around the dogs who come along. Whether it’s a lively spaniel who needs to burn energy, a nervous rescue finding their feet, or a puppy learning the ropes, each walk is designed to be safe, stimulating, and fun.

I’ve worked with dogs professionally since 2019, gaining hands-on experience with all kinds of breeds and personalities. Before that, I studied Zoology at university and spent several years in recruitment and marketing. A redundancy gave me the chance to turn my love of dogs and the outdoors into my full-time career, and I’ve never looked back.
Alongside years of practical experience, I’ve completed training with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. I’m also working towards a Level 5 qualification in canine behaviour. My approach is science-based and focused on building strong relationships between dogs and their people. I use methods that are kind, practical, and consistent. This ethos shapes every walk, from teaching puppies early manners to supporting older dogs who need calm, steady handling.

Omar is my nine-year-old Poodle x Golden Retriever, though “mutt” probably describes him best. He’s my best friend, my assistant and regular group walk companion. With his positive nature and calm confidence, he’s brilliant at helping nervous dogs settle and showing puppies how to play nicely.
Your dog’s routine and needs come first, and my services are built to fit around them.
